MISSING IN A CORNFIELD
**THE SEARCH FOR EASTON — AND THE COMMUNITY THAT HELPED BRING HIM HOME.**
Easton’s story is about much more than putting a thermal drone in the air. **It’s about what can happen when an entire community cares about one missing dog.**
His family did everything they could. They put up flyers, walked the area, talked with neighbors, followed sightings, drove the roads, and kept getting the word out. Countless people shared Easton’s posts and kept their eyes open.
Then came a critical break. **A landscaper mowing a property spotted Easton and cared enough to report the sighting.** That information helped put me in the right area to get the drone in the air.
Once I arrived, I spent **hours searching** the surrounding fields. I was determined to cover the area thoroughly and give Easton every chance possible.
And then—I found him. **Easton was in the cornfield.**
Locating him was only part of the job. Easton had been missing, scared, and in flight mode. From the drone, I was able to guide his owner toward him while we used patience, calming signals, and the right approach to avoid pushing him. Eventually, Easton began to settle down, recognize and trust his owner again, and they were finally reunited.

FIND TOBY in PA, volunteers connected withSperanza Animal Rescue and so many members of the community played a part. I know there are probably people I'm missing, and that's exactly the point—**this took a community.**
Every share matters. Every flyer matters. **Every legitimate sighting matters.** Sometimes one person simply paying attention and making a phone call can become the piece of information that changes an entire search.
Then we can put the technology and experience to work.
Search. Rescue. Reunite.
