Genesis 1:26–28 reveals that humanity was created in the image of God. This means we were designed to reflect His character, represent His authority, and faithfully steward His creation.
When people say God created you to "live like a king," they are not referring to a life of pride, luxury, or self-indulgence. Rather, they are speaking of the spiritual authority, purpose, and inheritance God gives His children.
The Bible teaches that through Christ we become heirs of God's Kingdom. As children of the King of kings, we are called to live with dignity, wisdom, integrity, and purpose. Our dominion is expressed through faithful stewardship, servant leadership, and reflecting God's love in everything we do.
Jesus redefined what true kingship looks like. He did not lead through intimidation or selfish ambition, but through humility, sacrifice, compassion, and service. His life demonstrates that genuine authority is exercised by lifting others up, not by putting them down.
To live like a king in God's Kingdom is to:
Walk confidently in your God-given identity.
Lead with humility and wisdom.
Serve others with love and excellence.
Steward every opportunity God has entrusted to you.
Reflect the character of Christ in every area of life.
