Disclaimer I made a mistake tonight at the conclusion of the Majors Game between the Outlaws and Diamond Dawgs I called the game when I shouldn’t have. This is completely on me and I take full responsibility. Our rule is if the home team is behind 7 runs or less we finish the inning. Coach Q came to the booth after she talked with her team and ask why I cut it. Then it hit me. The coaches know the rules as well as I do and I wish she would have said something before we left the field. No excuses I made a mistake and the Coaches as well as parents were a class act and didn’t argue fuss or yell when they definitely could have. To the Dawgs please accept my apology and I look forward to buying the girls snow cones when I get back as I don’t want “no problems”. Or getting beat up in the parking lot.

Minor coaches, great opening night energy was good. Stand was busy kids had fun.

I want to give a big shoutout to Chad and Company (younger fella) with the Ladybug’s. They walked around and picked up every piece of trash in the park. That is what we need every time. We have a lot of eyes on us so going the extra mile makes a huge impact.

Concession Team: WOW is all I can say. Food was amazing, those Dirty Sodas were a hit. You all rocked it.

Rule reminder that includes practicing. Face Mask. Minor Division- Every player on the field must wear a face mask. Majors- Corners (1st and 3rd) and Pitcher are required to wear one, although it is highly recommended that all players wear one for protection, as you only get one set of teeth.

As some may be aware, Fox Hill Athletic Association has undergone a name change, effective March 21, 2026, and is now formally known as Fox Hill Athletics. This decision was not taken lightly, but was deemed necessary to rectify past issues and secure a strong future. However, rest assured that our history as the pinnacle of youth sports in Hampton Roads remains unchanged. As we embark on a new chapter, we look forward to another 55 years.

As we transition from Volleyball to Softball/Coach Pitch at Asbury Park, the next few weeks are expected to be increasingly busy. New bases are being installed, a temporary fence is being erected, and we are eagerly anticipating the 55th summer of evening games.
