It takes strength to pull a bus, but it takes a community to make a difference!

This weekend, the Hampton Family YMCA hosted the Jacob Dore Memorial Bus Pull, where teams compete to pull a full-size school bus 250 feet to raise funds that support YMCA programs for local children and families.

Despite the rainy weather, our amazing teams, volunteers, sponsors, and donors showed up and helped us raise over $9,000, and the total is still climbing!

A special thank you to Matrix Fitness USA and Radar Promotions for sponsoring this year's event and helping make it all possible!

Congratulations to all of our teams, and a special shoutout to our five-time defending champions, Moose on the Loose, who pulled the bus 250 feet in an incredible 43 seconds! We can't wait to do it all again next year!
