As we wrap up another spring season at Hampton Youth Club, I’m realizing just how hard it is to say “see you later”.

Being a parent, there’s nothing better than watching your own kids grow in confidence, celebrate the big moments, work through the tough ones, and make memories they’ll never forget. Those are the moments that make every practice and every late night at the ballpark worth it.

But being a director gives me an even bigger perspective. I’ve had the privilege of watching so many children across our league fall in love with baseball and softball, make lifelong friends, and become part of something bigger than themselves. Seeing our fields full of smiling kids, supportive families, dedicated coaches, and volunteers reminds me why Hampton Youth Club means so much to our community.

This season wasn’t perfect - no season ever is - but it was filled with growth, laughter, teamwork, and countless memories that I’ll carry with me for years to come. I know how much time, effort, and heart goes into making a season happen, and I couldn’t be more grateful for every coach, volunteer, umpire, sponsor, concession worker, board member, and parent who gave so much to our babies.

To every family who trusted Hampton Youth Club with your child this spring - Thank You. It has truly been an honor to be a small part of their journey.

The ballfields will be a little quieter for now, and I’ll definitely miss the busy evenings, the sound of bats cracking, kids laughing, and seeing everyone gathered together. But I already can’t wait to see what next season brings.

Thank you, Hampton Youth Club, for another unforgettable spring. I love this community, and I’m so proud to be part of it. ❤️⚾🥎🫶

Our 9U Raptors are moving up to 10U in the fall. Come out to our open practices over the next few weeks (every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 6-8pm) and get some practice in, see if we’re a good fit and meet our team.
