Congratulations to all of our soloists who competed nationals this week. We are so happy for Mia, Monica, Penelope, Genesis and Mackenzie C for being invited back to re-compete their solos today in The Royal Circle. Mia ended the day 3rd place amongst all solos in the advanced division age 13 and over. We are so proud of you ❤️

Congratulations .green3 on an outstanding last performance of Young And Beautiful at NYCDA Nationals, earning a Platinum and competing against 270 of the most talented teens from across the country. We are so proud of you!

Congratulations to Genesis on her day at Royal Nationals! Genesis was given the Legacy award and invited back to dance in the Royal Circle tomorrow! Joining her so far in the royal circle are Mackenzie C and Penelope.

Ella, you are truly something special! We could not be more proud of your performance this evening. You earned yourself a platinum and National Top 20 Mini Solo Nationals out of 202 soloists. What an incredible accomplishment!

Thank you and NYCDA. This is our first NYCDA experience and we are so thankful to have our dancers participating. The opportunities they have this week are so special!

Now it’s back to rehearsals, classes and so much more as we wait for the OD Galas next week!

Royal Senior Solos ✅
Congratulations to Monica and Mia on 4 beautiful performances this evening! Both girls earned a Blue Diamond for both solos, Monica placed 5th Overall with Vanquish and Mia placed 6th Overall with Unraveled. Monica received a judges award and we also were given the “In the Spotlight” studio award!
What a great night, we are so proud of both of you ❤️

Elizabeth! We could not be more proud of you! Earning a platinum at NYCDA nationals is a big deal and you did it in the senior division, with a brand new solo and amongst the most talented dancers across the country - at your first ever NYCDA nationals! Bravo!

Congratulations to Mackenzie and Penelope on a great day at Royal Nationals! We have another national champion! Way to go Mackenzie for earning 2 Blue Diamonds and 1st Overall Petite Intermediate Solo. On top of that Mackenzie also got chosen to attend an invite only audition for MSA Agency on Saturday! Penelope ended her season with a diamond and 4th overall competitive petite soloist with a special award recognizing her jazz technique.

Day 1 of NYCDA Nationals is complete! It was a busy day for our 4 OD dancers! Gia and Janelle competed their solos and Ella and Elizabeth had hours of rehearsal! Huge congratulations to Gia for earning a Platinum which is the highest adjudication. Both girls danced beautifully amongst over 200 incredible junior soloists from all over the country!
Day 2 brings Jazz auditions, Senior Solos and more rehearsals!
