Game time! 🏀⛹️‍♂️

Our Basketball Discovery Youth Sport Leagues are bringing plenty of energy to the court! Our 4U athletes are learning the fundamentals and practicing their skills, while our 6U athletes are putting those skills into action during games against other teams. We love seeing our young athletes having fun, learning teamwork and building confidence with every practice and game! 🏀🙌

🏕️✨ Kids Night Out: Happy Camper! ✨🏕️

As always, Kids Night Out was a blast! We have so much fun with our kids every month, and this month we brought the Happy Camper theme to life! The kids got cozy with blankets, camp-style activities, games, and storytelling! We loved watching them snuggle up, use their imaginations, and share stories together just like they were gathered around a campfire. From laughs and crafts to cozy moments and making memories with friends, it was another amazing night at the Hammond YMCA! 🏕️🧡

Thank you to all of our families for trusting us with your little ones. We can't wait to make even more memories together at our next Kids Night Out! 🧡🧡

Recently, our Hammond Family YMCA staff had the opportunity to volunteer alongside the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana during their Storm Relief volunteer event. We were grateful to be able to support our community and lend a helping hand when it was needed most!

We’re proud to stand with our neighbors, support our community, and lend a helping hand whenever we can! 💙

⭐⭐ Staff Spotlight ⭐⭐

You know her, you love her, and you love when your child gets to spend time with her, it’s none other than Kairi from KidZone and one of our Gymnastics, Dance, Cheer and Ninja instructors! 💙

Kairi brings all the fun, energy and love to KidZone. From Just Dance and yoga time to playing and creating memories with the kids, she always makes sure our little ones are having the best time! And Kairi isn’t slowing down here at the YMCA. She’s now joining our Membership Team, bringing her bright, bubbly personality to a whole new department!

But don’t worry, you’ll still see Kairi in KidZone! We’re just excited to let her spread her amazing energy throughout the YMCA. Next time you walk through the doors of the Hammond YMCA, be sure to say hello to Kairi! 🎉💚
