Two of Valentino BF’s first foal crop were presented at the Sept 8 Holsteiner Verband mare and foal inspections. Both went premium. Here is a short video of the two on that day.

This week we hosted a Mare & Foal Inspection for the Holsteiner Verband. It was a beautiful day and mares and foals showed themselves well with many “premiums”. Our Lorita BF (Lordanos - Acorado - Capitol I) was site champion mare. Videos will be posted on the website for the foals offered for sale in the coming days. Branscomb Farm

Valentino BF continues his winning streak stepping up to claim the win in the $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby at WCHR week Del Mar yesterday with a beautiful ride by Jill Humphrey against a competitive field of more experienced horses. Pepe Rodriguez, who helped breed and raise this 5th generation product of our breeding program and was his first rider took the Groom’s Award. The Farm team couldn’t be prouder of our “baby” stallion and look forward to his first foals born this spring following in his hoofprints.

A few people asked me recently about Pixel BF (the now 3yr old mare by J-Nius VV Z) I imported as a weanling. She grew up into a big girl and is now starting her groundwork in preparation for probably being backed and ridden very lightly this summer. Got to love those spots!
