I'll preface this by saying that I often question God on why things happen the way they happen or why they happen at all.

What I know and never waiver on is God loves us infinitely and HIS grace is sufficient.

Pastor Stan Farley from Lewisburg really struck a cord with my recent dialogues with God especially about our ministry and our recent family blessing.

Pastor Farley: "If you feel like someone is always trying to take a bite out of you, you must be good fruit."

For our young team, that is Divine prophecy.

Thank you God for being a good, good FATHER who needs exactly what we need.

Another tournament. Another battle. Another championship. 🏀🥇Our EL Storm 5th Grade squad continues to show what happens when talent, effort, and teamwork come together. Haters hate and ragers rage; God just takes care of business. When we started this team, it was started as a ministry. We had no invested need for it other than my Godson being coached by true coaches. We started with 8 kids two years ago. Now we have over two dozen--not our choice, but it's Gods ministry so we just ride. We cannot do anything on our own, but we can do what HE determines because he goes before, behind us and around us.

We had some people leave because they didn't see the future fulfillment in the mission. We still love them and cheer on their kids because we are in the ministry to build The Kingdom!

I have grown weary of hearing it's just this or it's just that. This weekend we went to the city and played respectable competition that used to beat us by twenty or more points.

The sixth grade-12u and fourth grade-10u both won the championships. Gabriel C was MVP for 12u, and Elijah P was MVP for 10u! All our kids poured it out, but these two were consistent, persistent and determined. Congrats young men!

All glory to God for we are HIS STORM and HE IS OUR REFUGE !
