And just like that, Youth Camp has come to an end!☀️🥹 What an unforgettable summer it’s been! We’re so grateful for all of our amazing campers and instructors for filling our summer with endless laughter, energy, and friendships! Thank you for making this summer one we’ll never forget🥋💙

⭐️Balance Haddonfield instructor highlight: Amanda!

Amanda can be found at Sephora, where she helps people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin, exactly as they are. She has been working at Sephora for eight years and has been practicing jiu-jitsu for just as long. Amanda has always had a passion for challenge and for pushing herself because she believes everyone is capable of so much more than they realize. Her passion for jiu-jitsu eventually grew into a passion for helping others and guiding them through their own jiu-jitsu journeys. Whether someone practices jiu-jitsu as a hobby or dreams of competing and becoming a world champion, “my passion is teaching people, guiding people, and pushing people through roadblocks so they are able to be the best them possible”. Amanda especially loves her competition class because she gets to see her competition kids push themselves and go through the ways of competition. When Amanda was 9 years old, she taught herself how to play guitar, play piano, and do makeup, using nothing more than random YouTube videos. Those skills quickly became some of her favorite hobbies. Today, her interests include playing the guitar, makeup, singing, writing, drawing, reading, and, of course, fighting and training jiu-jitsu.
