MS RAYS FAMILY — LET’S SHOW UP FOR A GREAT CAUSE.

We’re proud to help spread the word about Orange Grove Youth Association’s first annual Bombs for Moms Hit-A-Thon, happening October 17th at Clarence Johnson Memorial Park.

This is bigger than baseball.

Players get 10 swings to absolutely unload, while raising money through pledges and donations — with 100% of all pledge money going to the Memorial Breast Cancer Foundation.

Registration is only $20 and includes a Bombs for Moms T-shirt + 10 swings. There will also be prizes for the longest combined distance and best pink outfit.

Rays players, families, friends — this is a good opportunity to grab a bat, hit some bombs, and rally behind the moms, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, friends and families who have been impacted by breast cancer.

We’re opening The Tank for live softball hitting this Sunday at 4:00 PM.

MS Rays 10U Martel battled their way to a Battle in Mississippi Championship, capping the weekend with a 7–6 win in the title game.

Paislee Bennett was outstanding in the circle throughout the day, while Anaya Daniels delivered one of the biggest moments of the weekend with a game-winning steal of home in a 3–2 victory.

The Rays finished the weekend with four wins, defeating The Coastal Elite three times and PHX Crossfire once on the way to bringing home the championship.
