Horsetail Falls on Cherry Creek is just one of the many little surprises on this legendary Class 5 run. With a unique drop that sometimes requires some shuffling around of people in the boat, it’s a sweet ending to a day on the water. Tonight is the peak of the Perseids Meteor Shower, and with the new moon offering ideal viewing conditions, forecasters are predicting 50-100 meteors per hour! Our wilderness overnight rafting trips offer the perfect setting to view meteors and other astronomical sights, as the remote river canyons are miles from any major sources of light pollution. It’s one of the best parts of camping alongside the river!

South Fork American River (Class 3): Half-day, 1 day, and 2 day trips available throughout the month
Middle Fork American River (Class 3-4): 1 day trips as well as 2 and 3 day wilderness overnight trips available throughout the month
Tuolumne River (Class 4+): 1 day trips as well as 2 and 3 day wilderness overnight trips available through Labor Day.
Cherry Creek (Class 5): 1 day trips as well as Cherry Creek // Tuolumne 2 day and 3 day combo trips available through Labor Day.
