Rise Yoga Ohio

This season has reminded us that yoga isn’t about perfect conditions it’s about presence.

As we’ve embraced our temporary warm studio, practiced outside, and flowed with fans, we’ve also been invited into one of yoga’s greatest teachings: Santosha finding contentment exactly where we are.

The practice asks us to soften our resistance, trust the unfolding, and remember that every breath is an opportunity to return to the present moment. Growth often comes not when everything is comfortable, but when we learn to meet each moment with patience, grace, and an open heart.

Thank you for embracing this journey with us. Together, we’ll continue to breathe, adapt, and find peace in the present exactly as it is. 🤍

A little update from us! 💛

We’re still working through our AC situation, and while it looks like it’ll be a couple more weeks before everything is completely fixed, we’re making the best of it and keeping classes rolling with the heat!

Our updated schedule for the next week is live on StudioBookings. Over the next couple of weeks, you may see a few schedule changes, substitute instructors, and the occasional class cancellation as we work around vacations and our temporary setup.

The good news? Many of your favorite classes are still available on Zoom, so you can keep moving with us from the comfort of home!

Thank you for sticking with us, cheering us on, and supporting our little studio through it all. We have the best community, and we can’t wait to get back to normal. Until then, let’s keep showing up, moving our bodies, and making the best of it together! 🧘‍♀️✨

Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel after this past Saturday. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to celebrate 10 years of Rise with us. Your support, kind words, and presence made the day so incredibly special.

A huge thank you to the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce for celebrating alongside us and supporting our small business journey.

Definitely didn’t take nearly enough pictures because I was too busy soaking it all in but it was truly a fabulous day.

Let’s wrap up this trip down memory lane.

Thank you for coming along on this journey with me. It’s been fun to look back, remember the milestones, celebrate the growth, and revisit all the little moments that helped shape Rise into what it is today.

As much as this story is about the studio, it’s also about family.

When we got the keys to this space, my kids were just 1 and 5 years old. They’ve grown up here. They’ve spent countless hours in the studio, helped, greeted familiar faces, and watched Rise evolve right alongside them. Some of their favorite memories happened right here from festivals to parades, so many other special moments that became part of our story. This place has been more than a studio to them, it has been a second home filled with experiences they’ll never forget. A few years ago, when small business was challenging I talked about the possibility of moving on from the studio, both of them rejected that idea passionately!! Truthfully, one of the biggest reasons we’re celebrating 10 years today might just be those two little people reminding me how much this place means.

And then there’s my husband.
When I came up with this dream he supported it from day one, he’s listened to every vision, every plan, every “what about this?” conversation. He has spent early mornings here before heading to his regular job making this idea become reality. I lovingly joke that he’s the studio’s maintenance man, but the truth is he’s been so much more than that. Behind the scenes, he’s been the person making sure everything keeps running and helping turn this into something real. I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for the time, effort, patience, and encouragement he’s poured into this place. Rise simply wouldn’t exist without him.

Ten years later, what stands out most isn’t the building, the classes, or even the milestones.

It’s the people. The friendships. The encouragement. The support. The laughter. The community that showed up for us just as much as we tried to show up for them.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of the story.

Here’s to the next chapter. ❤️
