Day One of M’Fest is in the books and some of the nation’s best motorcycle police officers came ready to learn. 🏍️👮

Riders from law enforcement agencies across the country have made their way to BMW MOA M’Fest to sharpen their skills alongside instructors from the BMW Performance Center.

These are riders who already spend their working lives controlling big motorcycles in demanding environments. But even at this level, there’s always another technique to refine, another line to perfect and another opportunity to become a better rider.

Day One was about training, precision and putting those skills to the test.

And we’re just getting started.

M’Fest continues Friday and Saturday, with more training, while the competition is still ahead.

It started with a fire-damaged 1994 BMW K 1100RS.

It'll finish at Barber. 🏁

When the K 1100RS arrived at Hellgate Moto, radiant heat from a garage fire had melted and warped virtually every piece of plastic bodywork.

But underneath?

The 1,092 cc, 100-hp Flying Brick was still alive.

So BMW Master Mechanic Nick Rovello and the Hellgate Moto crew didn't restore it.

They reimagined it.

S 1000RR front end. Brembo brakes. Öhlins suspension. K 1200RS wheels. Motogadget electronics. Custom 4-2-1 exhaust. And a completely new attitude.

The result is Hellgate Moto's Cacti Green K 1100RS.
