"I started working out at Exercise Inc 19 years ago because I had read that it was very important for women to strength train as they start to age – prior to strength training, all I heard was the benefits of cardiovascular training. I was very skeptical of a 20 minute a week program, however I knew that unless I committed to a personal trainer who would challenge me every week and coach me, I would not have made the commitment. I knew that left to my own devices, I would have joined a gym, exercised a few reps and as soon as the reps became a little difficult, I would have quit. I needed the discipline of a coach who would work with me and inspire me to do my best.
Fast forward 19 years later…I am still working out at Exercise Inc with Kyle who has been my coach from the beginning and have maintained a healthy weight, have been able to eliminate maintenance medicine, and feel fantastic.
The best example I can give of why I continue to work out is that over the years, I have witnessed women who are much younger than I am who are not able to lift and carry weight and move effortlessly like I can. It is not a competition, but rather an observation of how 20 minutes a week has made me a healthier and more mobile person." See less
