24 years. Countless memories. One very special chapter at Tamarack.

As Brian Gillespie’s time at Tamarack comes to a close, we extend our sincere gratitude for his 24 years of leadership, dedication, and commitment to this Club. Brian has been an important part of the Tamarack community for more than two decades, and his impact will be felt for years to come. We wish Brian and his family nothing but the very best in all that lies ahead.

A big congratulations to Roger Haggerty and Ray Basso on capturing this year’s Senior and Super Senior Club Championship titles!
It’s a three-peat for Roger, who has now captured three consecutive Senior Club Championship titles. An incredible run! Ray secured his first Super Senior Club Championship in dramatic fashion, sinking a 20-footer on No. 18 to finish it off! Well played gentlemen, and congratulations on two great victories!

In case you missed the announcement, Golfweek’s 2026 rankings named Tamarack Country Club the #1 Private Golf Course in Connecticut, an honor that continues to fill us with pride.

You don’t become #1 without an incredible team behind the scenes. A special congratulations and heartfelt thank you to our Golf Course Superintendent, Jeff Scott, and our exceptional Golf Course Maintenance Team. Their passion, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence are evident in every fairway, green, bunker, and detail across the property.

The championship conditions our members enjoy each day are a direct reflection of the countless hours, pride, and teamwork they devote to caring for our course. Congratulations to Jeff and the entire team and thank you for all of your hard work.
