Lifting heavier doesn’t automatically build more muscle.
Read that again.
Too many people chase the biggest number on the bar while completely forgetting the reason they’re lifting in the first place.
Muscles don’t know how much weight is on the bar. They only know tension.
The goal isn’t just moving weight from Point A to Point B. The goal is making the target muscle do the work through a full range of motion while controlling the weight.
Instead of asking:
“How much can I lift?”
Ask:
“How much tension can I keep on the muscle?”
Focus on:
