Last week, we hosted our Junior Summer Golf Camp and Divorce Open Golf Tournament! Congratulations to our six winning couples: Jordan and Sally Kate Felts (1st Gross), Scott and Erin Anderson (1st Net), Tom and Julie Simpson (2nd Gross), Matt and Gina Mewes (2nd Net), Paul and Anne Brocker (3rd Gross) and Bill and Laura Colyer (3rd Net).

Last weekend, we hosted our Parent-Child Golf Tournament. Congratulations to our Overall Champions, Jeremy and Pete Revis, as well as our 10 Flight Champion teams: Ben and Henry Goforth (1st Place Junior Tee Flight 1), Martin and Thomas Hunt (2nd Place Junior Tee Flight 1), Brett and Vivian Shelley (1st Place Junior Tee Flight 2), Keith and Heaton Jones (2nd Place Junior Tee Flight 2), JJ and Jack Leffler (1st Place Red Tee), Jason and Sarah Richards (2nd Place Red Tee), Jeremy and Pete Revis (1st Place Blue Tee Flight 1), Henry and Hank Hall (2nd Place Blue Tee Flight 1), Chad and Grant Hanson (1st Place Blue Tee Flight 2), Tom Boone and Landon Shelley (2nd Place Blue Tee Flight 2)!

On July 10th and 11th, we had our annual Valley Challenge! A special congratulations to our Overall Champions, Jordan Felts and T.J. Twehues; our Overall Senior Gross Champions, Boyce Lowery and Barry Lowery; and our Overall Senior Net Champions, Joseph Locker and Rush Wilson. As well as our flight winning teams; Brock Cox and Nicholas Williams, Shane Hennessy and John Blue, Jimmy Gaffney and Douglas Wall, John Whatley and Alex Gibson, Sam Herb and Tom Shull, William Weeks and Richard DiLuzio & Sam Isgett and Larry Conn.

From golf and pickleball tournaments to a poolside celebration complete with a waterslide, foam party, delicious food, and live music, we celebrated summer the GVCC way! ☀️🎶

The evening concluded with a spectacular fireworks display under the stars, accompanied by the beautiful sounds of the Easley Symphony Orchestra. It was the perfect way to bring our members and their families together for an evening filled with laughter, unforgettable memories, and community.

Last week, we enjoyed two fantastic member events, the Member Mixer and our Wimbledon Tennis Social. Thank you to everyone who joined us for great competition, conversation and camaraderie.

On June 12th-14th, we had our Men's Member-Member Golf Tournament. Congratulations to our overall Men's Member-Member Champions, Brantly Vest and Erik Martin, as well as our eight flight winning teams: Jordan Felts and Josh Burns, Trent Gentry and Tyler Burdine, Barry Lowery and Boyce Lowery, Brantly Vest and Erik Martin, Fred Guthier and Thomas Byers, Greg Gimpel and Clay Hall, Ulf Buergel and Ed Jarman & John Rzepinski and Philip Houchens.
