Coach Blyth will assist in leading our women’s middle distance & distance program. During the past two seasons at IMG Academy, his athletes captured:

🏆 2 Girls Indoor National Championships (4x800)
🏆 2 Girls Outdoor National Championships (4x800)
🏆 1 Boys Outdoor National Championship (4x800)
🏆 Back-to-back Penn Relays titles
🏆 Championships at the 2025 Millrose Games and 2026 Texas Relays

We’re excited to welcome Coach Cope and Coach Blyth to the Furman Cross Country and Track & Field family!

Coach Cope joins the Paladins to lead our sprints, hurdles & jumps after seven outstanding seasons at Samford. During her time there, she coached:
• 4 All-Americans
• 3 NCAA East Preliminary qualifiers
• 26 SoCon individual champions (13 indoor, 13 outdoor)
• Helped Samford win 15 SoCon team championships

✅ at least a sophomore academically and athletically
