Full sending it right into a weekend of spicy racing!
While we all love the feeling of surviving brutally long and challenging races, there’s just something special about the opportunity get that battery acid taste in your mouth, feel your heat pumping out of your chest, feels your legs burning with the fire of a thousand suns, and smile through it all!
That’s exactly what this crew is up to this weekend and we wish them all not luck, but the ability to push their bodies to the absolute limit!
Go enjoy the gift that is sport, send it hard as hell, and give all the high fives you can!

This weekend was Nothin’ but a good time! 🤘
Would you expect anything different from this epic crew of athletes and sherpas? Yeah...I didn’t think so!
IMLP!
Seven athletes became Ironmen on one of the most iconic and demanding courses in our sport. That takes courage, patience, grit, and belief.
First Timers
• Laura Cook
• Nevin Cook
• Chris Henry
• Stephen Lind
• Tess Mair
• Darci Marteeny
• Nelson Poe
Each stepped into the ring for 140.6 miles and came out victorious.
Even better? We finished with a 100% finish rate. Every athlete fought their own battle, and every athlete crossed the line.
Huge congratulations to:
• Clay Bowden
• Mandy Dailey
• Cliff Holsonback
• Haley Neuwirth
• Whitney Elizabeth
• Nick Schilke
• Alexis Sciarrino
• Nick Weaver
• Coach Lisa
• Coach Thomas
A huge thank you to Coach Shana for crushing the social media and support game, MMS COO Lindsay for being the GOAT cheerleader, Todd Walker for being an on-course legend, and every spouse, parent, family member, and sherpa who helped make this weekend possible.
We rolled DEEP into Lake Placid!
Outside of IMLP, congrats to Caitlin Lindsey for earning a spot at the 2027 70.3 World Championship with a 3rd-place AG finish at Ohio 70.3, and to Brandon “BEast” East for taking on the Carolina Reaper in brutal South Carolina heat.
While we’re always striving to grow as athletes, this weekend was another reminder that finish lines matter far more than finish times, and that culture and community are the real foundation for any challenge.
It’s always our hope at Merge Multisport that we’re cultivating a culture of care, support, encouragement, and genuine connection.
Because at the end of the day, no one remembers your FTP, your VO₂ max, or the watts you held on a random Tuesday in February.
They remember who stood beside them when things got hard.
Who believed in them when they started doubting themselves.
Who celebrated every finish line as if it were their own.
The racing is incredible.
But the people...
The people are why we keep after it 🤌🏼🔥
Welcome to The Merge
