THE GUY BEHIND THE BAT. ⚾

If you’re new to RLC Bats, you might be wondering who is actually making these bats.

The answer is simple: me.

I started RLC Bats in 2003 because I loved baseball and wanted to make quality wood bats that players could be proud to take to the plate.

More than 20 years later, I’m still here.

I’ve made over 9,000 bats. I’ve learned a lot along the way. And I’ve had the privilege of putting RLC bats into the hands of players at all different levels.

RLC isn’t a huge corporation. There isn’t a massive factory filled with hundreds of employees.

one shop, and a whole lot of love for the game.

And that’s exactly how I want to keep it.

I’m excited to start sharing more of the RLC story, the bat-making process, the players who swing RLC, and everything that goes into making each bat.

EVERY BAT HAS A STORY.

Before it becomes someone’s game bat, an RLC starts as a piece of wood.

Then comes the turning.

The sanding.

The finishing.

The customization.

And finally…the player.

That’s what makes making bats so rewarding. You’re not just making a piece of equipment. You’re making something that becomes part of a player’s game.

After making bats since 2003, I still love watching that transformation happen.

From a piece of wood to the hands of a hitter.
