The Human Element of Training

Wearables have their place and are great for collecting baseline data, but they quickly lose their value when they overshadow the essence of training.

At MADabolic, we firmly believe that human accountability will always outweigh any baseline metric.

Rather than broadcasting your stats on a leaderboard, we focus on what truly matters: the quality of your movement.

The result?

Technical excellence, delivered by trainers who hold you accountable and prioritize you as an individual.

Results don’t come from flashy metrics—they’re built on face-to-face expertise.

One of our favorite multi-use pieces of equipment?

The Ultraslide Slideboard.

Unique to our programming and pulling from our co-founders’ hockey backgrounds, we think you will fall in love with it, too!

Hockey Butt, anyone?

Our trainer onboarding process is rigorous, as we place immense emphasis on a well-rounded and technically excellent training staff.
In addition to requiring a legit strength and conditioning certification, we put prospective trainers through in-house, tactical training that lasts 4-6 weeks before they can take the schedule.
When a MAD trainer stands before you…know that role was earned, not given.
For the individual who prioritizes human interaction and a high caliber of coaching that lends attention to proper movement mechanics, we won’t disappoint.

A glimpse at our interval styles and pace demands:

MOMENTUM (70% > 80% > 90% effort) – Athleticism and endurance are the focus, driven by a gradual build in pace and intensity.

ANAEROBIC (100% effort) – All-out speed and power take the lead. Each work effort demands maximum intensity, followed by equal rest to reset and recharge before hitting the next interval.

DURABILITY (80% effort) – A controlled pace designed to test your ability to sustain proper mechanics over longer efforts. Our unique interpretation of “Time Under Tension” sets us apart in the industry.

When training regularly, recovery is just as impactful on your progress as the time you spend training.

Whether you’re looking to lose fat, gain muscle, optimize performance, or you’re simply interested in long-term health and longevity, your recovery methods MUST be intentional.

Good starting points:

1. Build two rest days into your weekly training routine. Yes, TWO. If you’ve bought into the “no days
off” mentality, this will be a tough habit to adopt —but give us 12 weeks. We’re confident you’ll see better results and feel stronger when rest becomes part of your strategy. (You can thank us later.)

2. Drink plenty of water. We won’t insult your intelligence by explaining why you need to hydrate.

3. Eat like a grown adult.
Calories = energy. Energy = fuel. Fuel = recovery.
If we take that in reverse, restricting your calorie intake is like a fuel tank riding on empty – now, how could you expect to make
progress under these conditions?

Remember: More is not better. Better is better.

Judgment-Free Zone? Not here!

Make no mistake, our trainers will judge you.

They’ll judge your form and keep you safe.

They’ll judge your effort and keep you honest.

Through constructive judgment, they’ll motivate you and provoke long-term, sustainable results.

Our number one priority is helping you reach your true potential in the MADhouse. So, show up, do the work, and prepare to be judged.
