Today we celebrate 250 years of freedom, courage, and the men and women who have sacrificed so much to make this country what it is.

As we enjoy time with family, friends, baseball, and fireworks, let’s remember the values that make America great—hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and the freedom to chase our dreams.

What a weekend for this group of young men.

We finished the Black Bear Classic 6th out of 21 teams, but this tournament was about so much more than where we finished.

What makes this team special isn’t just the talent they have—it’s the fight that’s in them.
We found ourselves down 10 runs in one game and never blinked. These boys kept competing, one pitch at a time, battled all the way back, and pulled off an incredible comeback victory.
That resilience earned us a spot in the Top 8 heading into bracket play.

Then, with a trip to the semifinals on the line, we came up just one run short in a hard-fought battle. As the game went on, you could hear multiple teams cheering against us because they didn’t want to see Southern Dynasty keep advancing. That’s a sign of the respect this group has earned.

I’m incredibly proud to coach these boys. Their heart, toughness, and refusal to quit can’t be measured by a scoreboard. They play for each other, they compete until the final out, and they never stop believing.

The best part? They’re already ready to get back on the field, go to work, and battle again.
This team is growing, learning, and proving every weekend that they belong with the best.

The future is bright for this group . 🖤🧡

Proud would be an understatement.

Coming into Sunday as the #4 seed, these boys had a challenge in front of them. They responded by dominating our first two games and earning a spot in the Championship Game of the PG North Carolina State Championship 13U Majors.

The championship didn’t start the way we wanted. At one point, we found ourselves down by 11 runs. A lot of teams would have folded, but not this group. They battled, competed, and refused to quit. In the final inning, we brought the go-ahead run to the plate and made them earn every out.

Did we win? No.

Did we learn, grow, and leave hungry for more? ABSOLUTELY.

This weekend wasn’t defined by a trophy. It was defined by resilience, toughness, and the belief that we can compete with anyone. Every challenge we faced pushed us to another level, and these boys continue to prove that they are willing to fight until the very last pitch.
