We’re taking the horses to the library, and it’s a great opportunity to share a little more about why Longhorn Arena exists in the first place. 🐴❤️

Many of our arena followers and patrons may not know that Longhorn Arena was built to support the work of the Mental Health Clinic of Greenville and the equine-assisted therapy we provide with children, families, and individuals.

The arena gives us a place where horses can be part of meaningful work focused on connection, communication, confidence, healing, and growth.

Every event held here, every family that attends, and every person who supports Longhorn Arena helps us continue that mission. Your patronage allows us to maintain a space where we can not only host great events, but also continue providing equine therapy and sharing horses with our community.

So when you support Longhorn Arena, you’re supporting more than an event venue. You’re helping us continue work that means a great deal to us and to the people we serve.

The Fiercely Fighting Fentanyl poisoning Event is coming to the Longhorn Arena. We invite our community to come out, learn, connect, and support this important cause.

There will be local vendors, community resources, food trucks, and more throughout the event. Stop by, grab something to eat, visit with the vendors, and take a few minutes to learn more about fentanyl awareness and prevention.

Events like this are about bringing people together, sharing information, and supporting families and our community.

🐾 CALLING ALL RESCUES, SHELTERS, PET ADOPTION GROUPS & ANIMAL-LOVING VENDORS! 🐾

We are getting ready for The Great Rescue Revival and we want YOU to be part of it!

📍 Longhorn Arena & Event Center – Greenville, TX

🎟️ FREE admission for the public!

This is a county-wide pet adoption event and community festival hosted by Sunshine Acres Animal Sanctuary, Inc. at Longhorn Arena & Event Center.

Our goal is simple: bring rescues, shelters, sanctuaries, pet-related businesses, families, and animal lovers together in one place to help animals find homes and help local organizations connect with the community.

We are currently looking for animal shelters, rescue organizations, sanctuaries, foster groups, and other nonprofits with adoptable animals to participate.

We would especially love to fill the arena with organizations bringing dogs, cats, horses, and other animals looking for their second chance. ❤️

We’re also welcoming pet and animal-related vendors, including groomers, trainers, boarding and pet-care providers, pet food and treat companies, tack or animal supply businesses, veterinarians and animal wellness providers, and anyone whose business serves pets or the people who love them.

There will also be kids’ activities, entertainment, food trucks, vendors, demonstrations, and plenty of family-friendly fun. Leashed dogs are welcome!

💥 Discounted vendor registration is available through October 15.
Final registration deadline is October 31, 2026.
