☀️ Happy Sunday, friends!
Sometimes we work hard, try everything we know to do, and still feel like we’re coming up empty.
In John 21, the disciples had fished all night and caught nothing. Then Jesus told them to cast their net again. It probably didn’t make much sense to experienced fishermen, but they obeyed... and suddenly the net was overflowing.
They couldn’t see where the fish were, but Jesus could. ❤️
Maybe that’s the reminder someone needs today. An empty net doesn’t mean an empty future. Just because you can’t see the answer yet doesn’t mean God isn’t already at work.
And when the disciples finally reached the shore, Jesus already had breakfast waiting.
He was already there. He had already prepared what they needed. 🤍
So keep trusting. Keep showing up. Keep casting the net when He calls you to. What feels empty today may simply be a place where God isn’t finished yet.
“Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find.” — John 21:6
