Quite a college debut for Next Level alum BRITNI SILVER (DH Conley ‘26)! The NC State Freshman collected a team-high 15 Kills in the Wolfpack’s season-opening win vs Stony Brook University…she also had 9 Digs & 2 blocks. Pretty cool to see your name in the headline in your first college match!
Way to go Britni…we’re following!

Good Tuesday morning. A reminder of the RESUMPTION DATES for our PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT CLASSES…..
I will highlight, explain or give a little depth to each one of these as the restart dates approaches. These groups will all run until the start of the School Spring Sports Season, but we PROGRAM it in increments of Fall & then Winter, to factor in our ⚾️🥎athletes playing school Fall sports AND because of how we dose things in Sept/Oct/Nov, vs Dec/Jan/early Feb.
We resumed with our HIGH SCHOOL GUYS yesterday. Excellent night. Looking forward to an excellent week.

We got to spend some time with ALEC BURLESON this weekend in Philadelphia. In the coolest stroke of luck, 3 of our Next Level families & friends (Vaughn, Evans, Owens families😊) happened to be going to Saturday’s game, as well. Alec was incredibly gracious & took care of everyone…getting all 3 families on the field pregame. He also continued his fantastic season, collecting hits in all 3 games. Currently in ALL OF MLB….1st in Doubles, 2nd in RBIs, 6th in Hits!
He looks great! He’s looking forward to getting “home” & getting back to work this offseason, but first, we’re looking forward to watching him FINISH the incredible year he’s putting together.

Congratulations to GAVIN WILLIAMS on becoming just the 3rd MLB pitcher so far this year to eclipse 200 STRIKEOUTS ON THE SEASON! The Big Rig is also just the 14th pitcher in Cleveland franchise history to hit that total. Lord willing, Gavin still has 6-7 more starts left in the regular season to continue to add to an incredible year!
We’re following you Big Gav & super proud!

-TANNER DUNCAN, playing in the Frontier League, for the Down East BirdDawgs, continues to be the guy slamming the door in the late innings, leading the team in Saves.
-ALEXIS HASTINGS (South Central, UConn) just finished her 1st Professional season with the KC Diamonds in the Professional Softball League, hitting .354 & being named to the All-PSL team!
Proud of them & we’re 👀ing!

Ryder…Boom!💥! Excited to celebrate the recent commitment of RYDER ANDERSON (DH Conley ‘28) to UNCW⚾️! The Right-Handed Power Arm has continued to ascend year over year, from the small field to the big field, but has truly busted out in a BIG way this summer, continuously posting HUGE outings that caught the attention of coaches everywhere. For those who may not be aware, Ryder’s older brother Tucker is a current freshman pitcher on the UNCW Seahawk ⚾️team. Pretty special for Brayom & Traci to eventually have both boys there together. But first, a couple of high school seasons left for Ryder to continue to Develop & Perform at the high level he’s currently doing both at. We’ve followed so many of Ryder’s big achievements over the years from the front row, starting with his BB&T/Truist/Tar Heel All-Star days, thru middle school & now high school. Whether working with him or just cheering him on, it’s never a boring ride with Ryder! Lotta Competitor in him for sure, but I will share that over the years, I’ve also gotten to see the more hidden side…the kid who always speaks first when he sees me & asks ME how I am doing…and I greatly appreciate that rare trait! I know he’ll continue to put the work in with his Skill, Body & Mental Aptitude and have “NO REGERTS” (IYKYK😂) and I’m excited to see that.
Congratulations again to Ryder & the Anderson family!

Another Summer of tremendous achievement for our area All-Star teams at the State Championship level & above. We are heavily invested in most of these kids & all of these teams….kids who we watch grow up in here, kids we do skill work with, kids we train physically, leagues & teams we support financially, kids we root for throughout the season as fans. SO IT MATTERS & we celebrate with teams when they achieve.
I recognize, as much or more than most, that community sports matter less & less each year across the country & that our area, for the most part, is an outlier. Even with whatever warts it may occasionally have, I’m still grateful for the COMMUNITY SPORTS opportunities our kids have here & we’ll continue to celebrate it!

Congratulations to ROOKE KNITTLE (DH Conley ‘27) on his recent commitment to JMU⚾️! We’ve been watching Rooke excel & receive numerous accolades on various fields & the basketball court since he was 9 years old….now we’ll get to continue to follow him in beautiful Harrisonburg. VA, after one last ride at DHC. Rooke has been a very rare 3-year varsity starter heading into his senior year..manning the middle infield during that time. Whether at Conley, as a member of the Region 1 State Games team, on the Showcase Circuit or at camps, Rooke’s Defensive Versatility, Game Poise, Athleticism and consistent all-around Production have been valued by college coaches. I’ve had some great conversations with Rooke lately and as I’ve said before, it’s the MOST FUN to get to be witness to the Maturation process of kids..including their communication skills. Proud of Rooke and I know he will only continue to get better. Congratulations again to Rooke & his family!
