Everyone needs to squat. And everyone CAN squat—if you choose the right version.
If you can get in and out of a kitchen chair, you already know the mechanics. A gym squat isn't a completely different movement—it's just that exact same everyday pattern, executed with intention.
Whether it is a chair, a kettlebell, a barbell, or TRX straps, the equipment doesn't matter. At Solivagant Strength, LLC, we focus on finding the exact version of the squat that is pain-free, structurally sound, and effective for your body right now.
But if you aren't ready for the studio yet, you start with the habit.
That is why The Single Set Solution exists. It’s a two-minute, at-home habit-tracker designed to help you build consistency before you ever touch a weight. Master the habit at home first. Then, let us teach you how to master the movement.

Cardio + Weights = The Kettlebell.
You don't need to split your time between a treadmill and a weight rack to get both cardiovascular health and strength. You just need a kettlebell.
Because of how the tool is shaped and moved, kettlebell training requires your heart, lungs, and muscles to work at the same time. You get the endurance stimulus of hard cardio combined with the muscle-building loading of traditional weight training—all in one efficient window, and without the pounding impact on your joints.
It is the ultimate shortcut for total body conditioning.
I can teach you how to use this tool.

By definition, a true plyometric exercise relies on the stretch-shortening cycle (SSC). It requires a rapid eccentric elongation of the muscle, an instantaneous transition phase, and an explosive concentric contraction. Think of a depth jump, bounding, or consecutive jump squats—the moment your feet strike the ground, your muscles must immediately absorb the kinetic energy and violently reverse it.
A properly performed swing mirrors the exact mechanics of those high-velocity plyometrics.
As the bell descends, gravity pulls it down with accelerating force. Your hamstrings and glutes cannot passively receive it; they must actively decelerate the load, aggressively stretching under extreme tension like a loaded spring. At the bottom of the hinge, there is a split-second transition where that stored kinetic energy is caught, transferred, and immediately released as your hips explosively snap forward to launch the bell back up.
The eccentric loading is fast, the transition is sharp, and the output is entirely ballistic.
It provides the nervous system and musculature with the exact same stimulus as bounding or jump squats—teaching the body to absorb force and instantly produce power—but eliminates the high-impact, vertical landing forces on the joints. It bridges the gap between pure resistance training and true athletic power.
