Saturday brings Contact Improv with Todd and Christine Fisher, the duo behind the Greensboro Contact Jam, teaching this one together ✨

The class covers the basics of contact improvisation for dancers of all levels. You will practice physically listening, sharing weight, and moving with a partner, starting with the floor as your first partner and building into open improvisation where you get to play 💛

Want to spend a few hours with us instead of the full weekend? Three classes are open for drop in at a flat rate of $25 each for dancers 18+ 💛

For our Pre/Pro artist highlight, we are delighted to highlight Kendall Teague , joining us for Contemporary and Contemporary Rep!
In Kendall’s Contemporary class, dancers can expect a follow along warmup and some simple improv, then a series of choreographed exercises repeated several times. The class blends ballet technique with general contemporary release, with the goal of leaving everyone warm and exhausted 💛
In Contemporary Rep, Kendall will share phrase work from choreographers she has been fortunate to work with along with some original work. Each piece carries a different focus and intention, giving dancers space to explore a real range of style ✨

For our next Pre/Pro artist highlight, we’re excited to welcome Hannah Nicole Marr !

Hannah Nicole Marr is a dancer, choreographer, and educator from Raleigh, North Carolina. A graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, she currently serves as Director of Dance at Jordan-Matthews High School and is a Company Dancer and Rehearsal Director with ShaLeigh Dance Works. She is passionate about exploring the connection between movement, emotion, and storytelling through dance.

In Hannah’s class, dancers will work with technical across the floor exercises before exploring a jazz phrase that develops stylistic versatility and musicality. ✨
