This past weekend, Carolina Elite Deaton traveled to Greenwood, SC to start their fall showcase season and we started it with a bang! Going 3-0-1 on the weekend with a team batting average of .358 and team OBP of .435. We scored 25 runs and only allowed our opponents to score 8 (only 5 earned). Our pitchers were on fire with a combined 2.2 ERA and a .230 batting average against.
Huge shoutout to our 2029 Hadley Monteith for catching all 16 innings this weekend with ZERO passed balls!
The love these girls have for each other and for the game shows when they take the field and the chemistry they have built is unmatched! Coaching this team is a dream. We are back in action September 27-28 in Burlington, NC for the Knockouts showcase.
