Was having to much fun tonight and didnt take a lot of photos but would like to thank commissioners Joe Noon , and Bob Harrison, mayor David Spencer, Town Manager Cindy Yost, staff from Greensboro Elementary, staff from Ridgely Elementary, friends, family , referee, and all coaches , who came out and made this night special for the 9 to 12 years old age group. Kids had a blast . This year doing special awards for our youth throughout the program was made very special.

Good Evening Everyone i would like to share a special message received from a big supporter of not only our community but our youth as well.

Greensboro Basketball Program is one of the many reasons I truly value serving as a Town Commissioner.
I want to extend my sincere thanks to the dedicated coaches, supportive parents, and, most importantly, the incredible young athletes who participated in this year’s program. Your hard work, teamwork, and enthusiasm are what make this community so special.
To the coaches—thank you for your time, leadership, and commitment to mentoring our youth both on and off the court. To the parents—your encouragement and support make all the difference. And to the players—you brought energy, sportsmanship, and heart to every game. You’ve made our town proud.
Programs like this strengthen our community and create lasting memories for everyone involved. I’m grateful to be part of a town that invests in its youth and celebrates their growth and success.
Thank you all for making Greensboro such a great place to live and serve.

As this week marks the last week of the 2026 Greensboro Community Basketball Program. We would like a packed house tonight , and tomorrow for some epic games. Tonight 9- 12 years old will play against our town commissioners and public support team.
Tomorrow is our 13 to 17 years old . Let's make a statement and come cheer on our youth.

Also last Saturday's tournament photos , and announcements will be posted later this week.
