What an incredible day celebrating the 25th IAMA Tri-State Championship!

A huge thank you to every competitor, instructor, school, family member, volunteer, judge, and supporter who helped make this year’s tournament such a success. Your time, energy, sportsmanship, and support are what make this event so special year after year.

To everyone who traveled to compete with us — thank you for being part of our 25th anniversary. We hope you left with great memories, new friendships, and plenty to be proud of.

And to all of our volunteers and those working behind the scenes — we couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

🚨 IMPORTANT: NEW TOURNAMENT ENTRANCE THIS YEAR 🚨

Due to school construction, tournament entry will be in a different location this year.

📍 Please enter through DOOR 13, located on the back side of Lawrenceburg High School.

🚗 Plenty of tournament parking is available near Door 13. Please follow the route shown on the map below.

➡️ Enter campus from U.S. 50 onto Tiger Blvd.
➡️ Follow Tiger Blvd around the high school to the designated parking areas.
➡️ Look for EVENT ENTRANCE signs directing you to Door 13.

We’ll also have signs posted directly on the entrance doors to make it easy to find.

Please share with anyone attending the tournament, especially those who have joined us in previous years.

My martial arts journey began more than 36 years ago, and in January 2000, I opened the Indiana Academy of Martial Arts. The following year, in October 2001, we held our very first Tri-State Championship Tournament.

From the beginning, my goal for the Tri-State Championship has been simple: to provide a fun, fair, and welcoming event where competitors of all skill levels have the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop as martial artists.

We are truly blessed to have an incredible group of instructors who share those same values and passion. Together, we take great pride in creating a respectful and positive environment filled with outstanding sportsmanship and spirited competition.

After 25 years, it is incredibly rewarding to see what this tournament has become—and I look forward to welcoming everyone back to the mat this year!
