Meet the Coach Monday! Up next: Coach Lauren! She will be coaching level 2, platinum, 6, 7, and 8.

"Hi, I'm Lauren! I've been coaching gymnastics for 9 years and recently finished my 15th and final season as a Gymstar athlete. I love the grit, growth, and lifelong friendships this sport creates, and I'm excited to pour that passion into coaching. My goal is to help every athlete build confidence, resilience, and a love for the sport while having fun along the way."

Meet the Coach Monday: Meet Robin!

“When my mom signed me up for gymnastics as a young child I bet she had no idea 35+ years later she’d still be volunteering at my side for YMCA events! This YMCA building and the Gymstars program have been a daily part of my journey for my entire life! I grew up competing as a gymnast, started teaching the moment I was old enough, quickly became a coach after that, and never looked back! I love that gymnastics is the wild platform I’m blessed to use to teach life skills, enhance the journey, and provide a safe space for young athletes to become strong confident adults!”

Level 6 and 7 Gymstars took the floor Tuesday! They crushed it!

Two of our Xcel Platinum seniors took the floor next for one last Gymstar hurrah! Good luck, you will be missed!

Meet the Coach Monday: Meet Lily! She will be coaching level 2 this season.

"I have been a Gymstar here at the Y for the past 10 years, after realizing last year that I can’t do gymnastics forever and I can't imagine my life not being involved with gymnastics, I decided to become a coach! After less than a year coaching youth I was asked to coach level 2 this season. I am so excited to have the opportunity to help gymnasts get stronger, do new skills and most importantly learn how to be good people."
