She walked up to me after class absolutely beaming.
She pulled out her phone and showed me pictures from a weekend at the end of June. Then she scrolled back to a picture from August 2025.
The difference wasn’t just the 25 pounds.
It was the smile.
The confidence.
The way she carried herself.
What many people don’t know is Holly had been a member before. She left. And for over two years, I kept checking in. I sent texts that sometimes went unanswered. I kept nudging. Not because I wanted another membership—but because I believed she deserved to feel what she was feeling in that moment.
I asked her to send me the pictures and answer two questions.
How did you feel in your skin THEN vs. NOW?
She said:
“I felt horrible and tired all the time. I missed out on a lot of things because I was embarrassed of myself. My body hurt all the time. Now that I have dropped 25 lbs so far, I am so happy. I look forward to coming to the gym and working out with such a great group of people. I feel like I CAN now instead of I CAN’T.”
Then I asked…
What’s the biggest thing that’s changed?
“I am so much happier now and I want to try new things and just better myself. I want to live my life and not hide who I am.”
And the words that got me…
“Thank YOU for never giving up on me.”
Truthfully, Holly…you didn’t give up on yourself.
You said yes.
You kept showing up.
You earned every single one of these 75 classes.

Today we’re celebrating Carolyn and this incredible milestone!
Over the last two years, she’s lost 20 pounds—but the biggest transformation can’t be measured on a scale.
