Kaden Kostichka Racing

We decided to come run for the last 1/4 mile late model race at WIR and the night started off strong, car was good for practice and we ended up with a solid p2 qualifying effort just shy of quick time. The first feature we rolled off 4th and bad luck struck again with our mount for the right side trailing arm breaking off and ending our run. So we got the mount welded back on thanks to Ethan Beattie and sawyer effertz. For the second feature we had to start in the back and ended up running to a P6 finish. Thanks to everyone who came out to watch and support me. Congratulations to Ty Fietzer on the championship! And both feature winners. And of course we couldn't do it without our amazing sponsors ⬇️

Wednesday night garage update. We received the rack a pinion today at noon from Appleton Rack. Thanks to all those who offered to help us out sourcing another one. We will be returning to Wisconsin International Raceway tomorrow night for the final night for the 1/4 mile late models. Championship night. Sent our rack out for repairs first thing Monday morning. Just got a call it's got more damage than we expected. It can be repaired, but the timeline to get it back for next Thursday is in question. All depends on when parts come in. Looking for one to possibly borrow, so we can race next Thursday. If you have one and are willing. Please let us know. Thanks

Norway recap. Night started off solid. Qualified 3rd. But then our night went from bad to worse. Started 4th in the heat, completing lap one, the car to our inside ran into our Left front tire, knocking the toe out. Kaden finished 5th. Made repairs, started the feature 4th, lap 2, we passed for 3rd, then the second place car spun the leader. We couldn't slow down enough and made contact. Kaden came off track, again the toe was knocked out with some front end damage. But Kaden said the steering was stiff and the car was pulling right. Decide to take it to the trailer. Good thing we did. As we were loading. The gear in the rack and pinion broke. So no steering. So DNF. Bad luck continues. Thank you to Henry Neerdaels for the help and tools. Also to Ryan Manthei for helping as well. Thanks to those we spent the time and effort for putting on these special races. Congratulations to Brandon Reichenberger on the win. And thanks to all those who help, sponsor and support Kaden.

Cancelled!!!
We absolutely hate this as much as anyone else, but we have to make the tough decision to Cancel tonight's racing program! We hate it, we are racers and want to race but we also have to make the decision that is best for everyone involved...with that said next week is going to be epic!
