We’ve been putting in some long days the past few weeks and it’s been yielding some incredible fish. Here’s a few snap shots of what we’ve been up to.

My next weekend availability is mid September, with some scattered afternoons available in August and early September.

Looking to fill a couple of August afternoons. The bite has been a ton of fun, and customers have been handling some giants as well as some nice batches of eaters take home.

Afternoons open are August 17, 18, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 as well as Sunday the 30th fully open.

Love when Kyle and Brittney come to town. We sure have a blast regardless of how the fishing is. Fortunately for us the bites been solid!

Always love blocking off a Saturday on the guide schedule and heading north to fish these derbs. Great people, awesome fishing, and a superb walleye club to be a part of.

What do ya do when you’re dealt with 15-20 outta the north on the bay? Clip some boards on and roll with it 😎

The temp gauge was the MVP today. Took a little while to put the puzzle together but once we did we had a hoot. Awesome morning hunting down some big ones with an awesome group of dudes!

Fun and quick day with Kyle and his son Keegan. Keegan wanted to spend his birthday jiggin’ up perch so that’s what we did!

Had some time to kill after their perch limit so we played catch, pic, release with some walleyes until the wind got annoying. Talk about well rounded fun day on the bay!

Still some time for some summer fun!

A lot of days looking like this lately. 2026 has been an absolute riot! The amount you can learn when fish are “biting” is mind boggling.

Still have a few days open for July.

My August Door County schedule is filling quick! Quite a few week day afternoons open. Weekend availability is extremely limited. Miscellaneous AMs and PMs available on August 2, 14, 16, 23, 29, 30. These days will fill quickly.

Some pretty extreme heat coming to our area for the next couple days! As unenjoyable as it is for us anglers, it’s equally as traumatic on our walleyes.

Some key things to remember if you stumble into a big walleye with water temps flirting with 80°
•keep them in the net- in the water while unhooking
•One quick picture and back in the water
•Hold onto them until they are ready to swim back down.

How often do you recheck spots? Checked this structure first thing in the morning and it was vacant of life. A couple hours later a small chop picked up and I knew our odds of fish stacking up were pretty good. It didn’t take long to get a nice batch of perch and salvage the day.

Wind can be our greatest gift and biggest curse on the bay, so it pays to use it to your advantage! Summer trips still available for walleyes and perch!
