In 2nd place was William Schneider and Alan Schneider. With 2nd place, 4th place, and 5th place finishes!

In 3rd place was Nick Rooney and Joe Newton with a 1st place and 3rd place finish in the 2 events they fished that counted towards AOY!

Don’t forget to sign up for the Green Bay Walleye Trail Championship!

This event is 155 dollar buyin and will be capped at 40 boats.

We only had 9 qualifying teams for our first year of the series. So I decided to open the championship up to the public.

The only 2 exceptions to the rules with this will be that:

If you did not fish a regular season Green Bay Walleye Trail event. You will not be eligible to win the additional championship side pot.

And with it being open to the public. Your partner is not required to be someone you fished a regular season Green Bay Walleye Trail event with.

The deadline to signup is Sunday night at 11:59pm on August 23rd!

The Green Bay Walleye Trail Championship on August 29th 2026 is officially open for sign up on the fish donkey app!

I have decided that the championship this year will be open to all anglers; because we only had 9 boats that qualified through fishing in the regular season events.

The only 2 exceptions to this rule will be that;

1. If you did not qualify by fishing a regular season event; you will not be eligible to win the 63.72 dollar additional championship pot that was accrued from the regular season events

2. Official qualified teams will take priority in the signup if the tournament field reaches capacity (40 boats). (Essentially saying the 9 qualified teams will be guarenteed a spot in the 40 boat field). You will also be refunded if the field reaches capacity and you get replaced by a team that officially qualified.

The deadline to sign up is August 23rd at 11:59pm.

The rules meeting will be virtual; via Zoom at 5:30pm on August 28th.

I will still need to verify new comers bump boards before the tournament.

Thanks!
