Today, the music may play.
The bikes may turn.
The weights may lift.
And we may walk through our doors like we do every other day.
But today is not just another day.
25 years ago, people woke up on an ordinary Tuesday morning.
They kissed their families goodbye.
They poured their coffee.
They headed to work.
They boarded airplanes.
They dropped their children off.
They made plans for later.
And for thousands of families, later never came.
September 11, 2001 changed us.
It showed us unimaginable evil, but it also showed us extraordinary courage.
First responders ran toward something everyone else was running from.
Strangers carried strangers.
People held hands.
They prayed together.
They helped one another.
And in some of the darkest hours our country has ever known, humanity showed up.
Today at Hype, we remember the 2,977 lives taken.
We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs and ordinary people who became heroes simply because someone else needed them.
We remember those who survived but carried that day with them for the rest of their lives.
We remember the families who have spent 25 years wishing they could have just one more morning, one more phone call, one more hug.
And we remember all those whose lives were later lost or forever changed because they answered the call that day and in the days, months and years that followed.
So today, maybe we hold the people we love a little tighter.
Maybe we complain a little less about the things that really don't matter.
Maybe we remember that waking up, moving our bodies, walking through these doors and having another day with the people we love is something we should never take for granted.
Somebody would give absolutely anything for the ordinary day we were given today.
Hype remembers.
Hype honors.
And Hype will NEVER FORGET. 🇺🇸
