Great Falls Equestrian, LLC Coming soon--Great Falls Equestrian! And they are thrilled to still have Sharon on board, continuing to teach students as well.

Situated on over 30 acres in the heart of Great Falls, Great Falls Equestrian is a multi-discipline equestrian facility offering top notch training for riders of all levels, and premium care for their horses. Longtime Great Falls residents and horse community standard bearers Sharon and Harry Huber are handing the reins of the facility on Arnon Chapel Road (formerly operated as Deerfield Farm, Great Falls Horse Center, and most recently as the Hubers' Stoneridge Farm) to a new team with Great Falls Equestrian. Wendy Masemer; a top level eventer, lifelong Great Falls inhabitant, and former student of the Hubers; and Lauren Dearlove; a successful trainer specializing in young horses, and formerly a beloved instructor with Great Falls Pony Club; will be taking over and are excited to carry on the long standing tradition of training young riders and fostering a love of horses in the next generation. Wendy and Lauren have a deep background in the hunter, eventing, and dressage worlds, and are proudly welcoming riders of all disciplines and levels to come train with Great Falls Equestrian. They hope to give riders a chance to experience different types of riding and competitions, and to help riders find their passion and pursue their callings.

Stella and George were pumped to back out on course at the The Marlborough Horse Trials USES Unrecognized Horse Trials, and finished on their dressage score to take 2nd in their Junior Beginner Novice division!

While Wendy and Lauren were down in Tryon this weekend, Emily took a crew to our favorite, extra local hunter show at Turner Farm Events, Inc. Abby and Henry were Champion in the Children’s Hunter with a clean sweep. They also got good ribbons alongside Molly and Hendricks in Horse Pleasure. New partners Molly and Hendricks were also Reserve Champion in Long Stirrup. Judy and Zoomer were Reserve Champion in Pony Hunter and came in second in the Pony Eq. Wallis and Kiwi tackled the Short Stirrup division together for the first time and had lovely jumps. Jack and Suzy were Reserve Champion in Leadline, and then Suzy and Mila were Champion in Pony Pleasure. Norah and Otis placed well in Pony Pleasure, and Norah rode Otis well in the Low Hunter division. Also in Low Hunter, Gia showed some very smart riding on a fresh Flirt, and Ella did a great job with Mia. We can’t wait to be back next month for the Halloween show!
