Hello All! Fall is approaching and it is nice to see the temperatures cooling down. We recently had a board meeting and we have been busy behind the scenes.
Make sure to say thank you to Jack Davis for coordinating some fence repair. Hopefully this repair will prevent balls from going under the fence on courts 7, 8, and 9.
We are also in the talks with the City and help financially install a new drinking fountain that will be compatible with filling water bottles. We will keep you posted! We also purchased some more benches recently and they are definitely being utilized. We are in the talks of installing a paddle holder but some logistics need to be ironed out. Our new backboard has been put to good use as well.
Recently some cracks were repaired and the city has been good about keeping their eyes open with court maintenance.

The Rogue Pickleball Club is always looking for improvements on and off the court to make our players have a safe place to play pickleball and going out socially. If people are interested in joining, be assure the money goes toward, improvements, social events, and tournaments.
If you are interested in doing Bingo at Growler Guys on Wednesday, October 28th, let us know! We will purchase bingo cards for club members and it is a costume night as well. The ladies that run it are a hoot and give out prizes for best costume.

Teams are BAAAAAACK! Fall Brawl Registration opens this Friday. OCTOBER 10th-11th. MARK YOUR CALENDAR. Get your team of 4 together (two guys, two gals)! Costume and/or team attire is highly recommended. We will have prizes for best looking team! We will have our 50/50 raffle as well. We look forward to another successful year. Will notify on Friday once registration is open.

National Pickleball Day is coming soon on August 8th. Since our club has close connection to this day, make sure to celebrate by going out to play or spend time with a group of friends on the court. Linda Gray is Co-founder of the day and the official logo designer. This year she will be up in Bainbridge Island, Washington where Pickleball all started. You can also buy items on the Etsy store.

Hello All! Hope your summer is going well! We have been having some womens clinics once a month and if you are interested, please reply. Our club coach is happy to reach out to you! Clinics are usually on Saturday mornings. Or if you want a group of four, let us know! Regardless, pickleball is a great sport at all skill levels and developing friendships. Keep in mind that a silly number rating in DUPR should not define your pickleball circle of true picklehead friends. Enjoy and cherish each day to play. Stay cool out there. 😉😊
