Registration is now open for our Young Dancer Program (ages 3-7 and Ballet 1 (ages 8-10), with classes starting September 8. This program is a prelude to formal ballet instruction, introducing movement and ballet basics through fun, engaging activities.

Adult classes will also resume today!

Mondays and Thursdays- Adult Beginner, 6:30-8:00pm
Wednesdays- Adult Intermediate, 6:30-8:00pm

Our new ​Masterclass Series is bringing some of the best-known names in the dance world to Grand Rapids Ballet for a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Learn from the best in the business in a 1.5 hour ballet class followed by an hour of repertory and coaching, learn choreography from famous works such as West Side Story and world-renowned choreographers such as George Balanchine and Annabelle Lopez-Ochoa.

Open to any ballet student age 13-21 with an intermediate to advanced level of training. Class size is limited so please register early. Participation or Observation tickets are available at www.grballet.com/ballet-master-class-series.

Our first Masterclass will be lead by James Sofranko, our company Artistic Director and former soloist dancer for the San Francisco Ballet. Mr. Sofranko's Masterclass will be held on stage at the Grand Rapids Ballet’s Peter Martin Wege Theatre.
