We are thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with innovative technology company Fokus to provide cutting-edge data-driven solutions for player recruitment and squad management.

Incubated in Norwegian club FK Bodø/Glimt, Fokus spearheaded a data-based technical evolution at the club, helping lead to four championships in the last five years and a run to the Round of 16 in the 2025/26 Uefa Champions League.

“Entering into a partnership with Fokus aligns perfectly with our data-centered sporting strategy,” said AC Grand Rapids Vice President of Sporting Operations & Strategy B.J. Snow. “We aim to operate efficiently and smartly, and Fokus’s platform will supercharge the data-driven approach we are taking to recruitment, player management, and performance analytics.”

Led by Snow, a former assistant coach with the U.S. Women’s National Team, the AC Grand Rapids sporting department also includes former U.S. Men’s National Team analyst Eric Laurie, hired in August as Head of Scouting, Recruitment and Performance Analysis.

📣 Michigan native joins as Chief Revenue Officer

We are thrilled to welcome Ted Van Zelst as our new Chief Revenue Officer.

Van Zelst brings more than 25 years of revenue leadership across major sports and entertainment, including experience with the NHL, NASCAR, NBA, Formula 1 and more.

In his new role, Van Zelst will oversee corporate partnerships, ticketing and revenue operations.
