Tomorrow, GLD and Rob will be hanging out at Earl W. Brewer Park for the Robert Burridge Fundraiser Flex Start — part PDGA event, part fundraiser, and part meet-and-greet with one of the best players in the game!!!

The idea is simple: raise funds to support Rob on tour while giving the West Michigan disc golf community a chance to meet him, hang out, and throw a round while he’s in town!

Rob will be at Brewer from 4 pm - 6pm, so come say hello, grab a photo, talk disc golf, and support a touring player who has been an awesome part of the Great Lakes Disc family.

And, of course, you might as well get a PDGA-rated round in while you’re there!

Show up anytime between 4–6 PM, grab a card, play some golf, and hang out with Rob!

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 River City Open Professional Weekend due to insufficient player registrations.

We contacted all registered players directly by phone and informed them of the cancellation and full refunds.

While we are disappointed that we will not be hosting the professional weekend this year, we appreciate everyone who registered, supported, and showed interest in the event.

We look forward to reinvesting the time and resources originally committed to this weekend into making our 2027 event lineup even stronger.
