Whether you’re 16 and looking for a way to serve, retired with time to give, or have skills and experience you’d like to share, there’s a place for you here.

What We Offer

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is:
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Professional, friendly, and comfortable talking with people
• Experienced in sales, customer service, serving, bartending, or other front-of-house roles — preferred
• Strong in grammar and written communication
• Excellent at building and maintaining relationships
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Comfortable communicating with candidates by phone and email
• Able to respond professionally to candidate inquiries — most contacts are candidate initiated
• Punctual, dependable, and reliable — excellent attendance is an absolute must

1 year of sales experience preferred/required

National Night Out is more than just an event—it's a celebration of community.

Each year, communities across the country come together to strengthen the partnerships between residents and the dedicated men and women who serve and protect them. National Night Out is an opportunity to meet the police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, and other first responders who work every day to keep our community safe.

The evening is also a wonderful opportunity to connect with many of the people and organizations that help make Grand Island a vibrant and caring community. Meet local business owners, learn about the work of our nonprofit and service organizations, and discover the many resources, programs, and volunteer opportunities available throughout our town.

National Night Out promotes crime prevention, public safety awareness, neighborhood connections, and community engagement.
