Grand Haven, MI 9/7

We fished for a few hours Monday morning and put some nice fish in the boat and left few still swimming! What worked best for us was 200-400ft Morgans Tackle Company coppers pulled behind Church Tackle TX-44 boards with glow spoons and plugs also our Big We**ie Brand 11in white paddle was hot on the rigger! The best water depth for us was 150-200fow with baits 50-115ft down. The season is coming to an end for us and the boat will soon be heading for its long winters nap!

Grand Haven, MI 8/14-15

We fished for a few hours Friday evening and Saturday evening putting some nice kings in the boat! Fishing remains good with our best water depth being 70-120ft with spoons and paddles with flys taking most of our bites! Morgans Tackle Company 200-350ft coppers pulled behind Church Tackle TX-44 boards did a great job putting fish in the boat as usual! The season is coming to an end but there is still time to get out and put fish in the boat see you out there!

Saugatuck, MI 8/7-9

We fished the Saugatuck Sport Fishing Association Big Lake Classic which marked our last Tournament Trail event of the season hard to believe its over already! We had some consistent fishing over the weekend which helped put us in the money finishing 3rd in the Pro division,3rd in the dual port championship, and 4th in 333! What has been working for us remains much of the same our Morgans Tackle Company 150-450ft coppers pulled behind Church Tackle TX-44 boards with a variety of spoons,plugs, and meat rigs have been putting fish in the boat! We had a great season placing 2nd in Michigan City, 4th in South Haven, and 3rd in Saugatuck we look forward to spending the rest of the season fun fishing and relaxing before the boats long winter nap! Fishing remains good in 80-170fow with our best water over the weekend being 100-150 with bait depths down 30ft to the bottom get out there and enjoy it while you can!

Holland, MI 7/30-30-8/1-2

We fished the Holland Steelheaders Big Red Classic although we had a good time we struggled to put together a good box of fish and Thursday we weren't able to weigh our biggest fish as we caught it on someone else's set up that they had lost the fish was alive and in bad shape we are guessing it was stuck on the bottom of the lake for a while trying to swim! We fished 50-220fow most days and had bites anywhere in between but no spot was really consistent. The majority of our came on Morgans Tackle Company 150-400ft coppers behind Church Tackle TX-44 and walleye boards! We are looking forward to the Saugatuck Sport Fishing Association Big Lake Classic this weekend which will be our final stop on the Tournament Trail and a chance a posting out final score for the cup!

Grand Haven, MI 7/10-11

We fished Friday and Saturday evenings from around 7:30-10:30pm both nights and had over 40 bites between the 2 nights! We fished mainly 55-70fow with best bait depths 30-50down our Church Tackle walleye boards pulling leadcore with glow spoons did most of the work with Morgans Tackle Company wire back 80-100 also putting some bigger fish in the boat! We will be joining The Perfect Storm Sportfishing this weekend at the Ludington Offshore Classic trying to put some big fish across the scales see you there!

Better late than never I guess but here is a short and sweet report the kings have started to show back up! We fished for a few hours Friday night going 4 for 5 best depth was 75-90 fow with bait depths 40-60ft down! We plan to be out at least one day this upcoming weekend hope to see you out there!

Grand Haven, MI 5/24-5/28-31

We did some prefishing over Memorial Day weekend in preparation for the Grand Haven Offshore Challenge, Inc. Tournament, although we caught some decent fish, the numbers weren't there. We had two more days of prefishing on Thursday and Friday before the main tournament to put together plan for the weekend. We had a plan after catching a 20lb trout on Friday unfortunately we couldn't get our trout to bite on Day 1 because of the high wind conditions, which left us without a tournament limit on Day 1 unfortunately! We knew we were pretty much out for the main tournament, so we decided to focus on big fish for the 333 and big fish prizes we caught some nicer fish day 2, unfortunately it wasn't enough to cash any checks! We are looking forward to taking a break from Tournament Trail for a bit and enjoying some fun fishing and family time on the boat.

South Haven, MI 5/14-17

We fished the South Haven Steelheaders South Haven Steelheaders Sport Fishing Association The Lodge- South Haven Pro/Am Tournament this past weekend and were able to get some 🏆 and cash some checks! We took 1st place in the Tournament Trail 333 event, 1st place big fish, and 4th place in the Pro division! Fishing has been improving, and we were able to catch a nice mixed bag of fish and even boated a 19lb lake trout that won us big fish! What worked best for us was Stinger Fishing spoons behind Morgans Tackle Company 50-400 coppers with a combination of Church Tackle walleye boards and TX-44 boards with our best water depth between 90-180. We are looking forward to the doing some fun fishing out of Grand Haven over the holiday weekend!

Saint Joseph, MI 5/7-10

We fished the Schu's Grill & Bar Shootout Spectacular over the weekend, and although we were able to put together tournament limits both days, we lacked the weight we needed to come out on top! Morgans Tackle Company short coppers with Stinger Fishing Stingray spoons behind Church Tackle walleye boards helped put our silvers in the boat while the wire divers put in work pulling trout off the bottom to fill our limits each day. We are looking forward to our next stop on the Tournament Trail, the South Haven Steelheaders South Haven Steelheaders Sport Fishing Association The Lodge- South Haven Tournament, this weekend see you there!
