I’ve worked during the holidays since my early days in retail, and after my move to California, Christmas in January became our new family tradition. My neurospicy brain enjoys doing something against the grain, and it’s nice to travel when things are calmer. From visioning, moving a shop storefront location, managing homes and four-legged families, lending an extra hand at local businesses, and organizing I’ve done it all. While extra time hasn’t yet been invented, many strive to get things done before the calendar year comes to a close and it feels good to lend a hand. Though some work comes with holiday pay, not all does, and folks are often working overtime during the most challenging time of year. Be good to those working out there, and to yourselves. Wishing you micro moments of peace! Here’s mine 🫶🏼💙
