Why can two rooms at the same 72°F feel completely different? 🌡️

Because temperature is only part of indoor comfort. Humidity matters too.

At 72°F, very low humidity can feel cool and dry, while very high humidity can feel warm and muggy. Keeping relative humidity in a comfortable range can make a noticeable difference in how a space feels.

Understanding the relationship between temperature and humidity is an important part of HVAC.

What does a flame sensor do in your HVAC system? 🔥

A flame sensor helps confirm that the furnace flame is actually on. If it doesn’t detect a flame, the furnace shuts off the gas as an important safety measure.

If a furnace starts but shuts off just a few seconds later, a dirty flame sensor could be one possible cause.
