Open Gym schedule is being modified due to low attendance. 3/4 and 5/6 will now be combined and running from 6:30-8:30pm. This week Boys are Monday and Wednesday and Girls are Tuesday Thursday.

Reminder: Tomorrow - Monday 9/14/26 is the last day for early bird pricing. On Tuesday 9/15/26 the price increases to $275 for league play and $85 for Instructional.

🏀🔥 SYC WARRIOR BASKETBALL OPEN GYMS ARE HERE! 🔥🏀

Evaluations are right around the corner ... come shake off the rust, get some reps in, and get ready for the 2026–2027 SYC Warrior Basketball season! ❤️🖤

We’ll be hosting OPEN GYM opportunities for players to get back on the court before team evaluations.

🏀 Get some shots up
🏀 Work on ball handling
🏀 Run through drills
🏀 Get comfortable on the court
🏀 Have fun with friends & fellow Warriors!

Open gyms are a great opportunity to get moving and build confidence before evaluations with no pressure, just basketball!

🏀 SYC WARRIOR YOUTH BASKETBALL — 2026–2027 SEASON 🏀

Registration is OPEN for SYC Warrior Youth Basketball! ❤️🖤🏀

There are several NEW changes this season, so here’s a quick breakdown of what families need to know:

⭐️ K–2 COED INSTRUCTIONAL BASKETBALL
💲 Registration: $85
📅 Season: January–February
🏀 8 Saturday morning sessions | 1 hour each

🏀 GRADES 3–6 TEAM (boys + girls) BASKETBALL
There are some BIG changes to the program this year!
💲 Early Bird: $250/player through September 13
💲 Beginning September 14: $275/player
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 $25 sibling discount for the second and each additional child
To help offset the registration increase, each family will receive:
🎟 2 season passes to SYC home games — a $48 value
💰 A fundraising opportunity to earn back $50

👕 UNIFORMS
Uniforms are included in this year’s registration fee. Going forward, families will only need to purchase replacement uniform pieces as needed. Players will also keep their assigned number throughout their time in the program.

⭐️ NEW TEAM STRUCTURE - All teams will compete against other programs within York County.
Teams will now be:
🏆 Varsity (Old "A")
🏀 JV (Old "B")
⭐️ Freshmen (Old "Rec")
📅 Team season: November–February
🏀 Evaluations/Tryouts: Late September/October

📍 3RD–6TH GRADE EVALUATIONS
Shrewsbury Elementary School
Players must be registered before attending evaluations.

👧 GIRLS — September 28 & 29
Grades 3–4 (Rink Division): 6:00–7:30 PM
Grades 5–6 (Juniors Division): 7:30–9:00 PM

👦 BOYS — September 30 & October 1
Grades 3–4 (Rink Division): 6:00–7:30 PM
Grades 5–6 (Juniors Division): 7:30–9:00 PM

⭐️ 7TH & 8TH GRADE BOYS
Registration will open November 20, following Middle School tryouts.
💲 Registration: $250 (increases to $275 on Sept 14)
