Sometimes the answer to better performance isn’t more.
Cryo, sauna, cupping, acupuncture, compression boots — these all have value. The question is whether you’re stacking all of them, every time, in place of the thing that would actually change how you feel.
And sometimes it’s the opposite problem. Not too much, but too little. A weak link that never got strong enough to handle the demands of the sport.
The instinct, when something hurts, is to step back and wait to feel 100% before moving again. More often than not, it doesn’t ease until you do move — and until you build strength in what’s underneath it.
Your body is giving you information. The goal isn’t to ignore it, and it isn’t to hide from it either. It’s to understand it, load it thoughtfully, and build from there.
That’s why my coaching works on what produces the numbers. Mind, muscle, and recovery capacity — because you can’t separate performance from the body producing it.
