This past Saturday we kicked off our goal of bringing soccer back to Glassboro with our first Micro Mini Session! With 90 kids registered in year 1 we hope to build on this success putting Glassboro back on the soccer map!⚽️🥇

With the goal of bringing youth soccer back to Glassboro there are a few key pieces that we need your help with. Anyone who wishes to coach a youth soccer team needs to be licensed U.S. Soccer. We will be hosting licensing courses at South Delsea Drive Park for those who are interested and want to help. Registration is now open for the 9v9 and 11v11 grassroots course Borough of Glassboro Parks and Rec will be hosting.

In order to register for any US Soccer Grassroots Course, you will need to open a free account with the US Soccer Learning Center. After creating an account, you will need to complete the free 20-minute Introduction to Grassroots Coaching before you can register for these courses.

🏀Parks and Recreation Youth Basketball will be holding free Skills & Drills sessions for 3rd-8th grade students in the Glassboro High School gym on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm from September 9th to October 7th.

Come hone your skills and make sure you are ready for the season!🏀

Following the bookbag giveaway at the Martin Luther King Center, there are still some supplies leftover!

Please visit the Parks and Recreation Center in the South Delsea Drive Park to pick up a free bookbag and materials while supplies last!

We are open Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
