Great Is Your Faithfulness 💙

Lamentations 3:22–23

“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.”

Lately, I've found myself in a cycle I'm ashamed to admit I keep returning to.

Knowing Jesus is enough, but still looking to the world to fill places in me that only He can satisfy. Knowing what He has saved me from, yet sometimes running back to the very things He's trying to free me from.

That's the part that hurts.

Because I don't just want to know that Jesus is enough. I want to trust that He is enough.

But maybe that's where His mercy meets us.

Jesus doesn't look at our failures and turn away. He sees the battle, the temptation, the tears, and the shame—and He still comes toward us with love.

The enemy wants our failure to become our identity. But Jesus says, Get back up.

Not because we're strong enough, but because His mercy is.

Every morning is a reminder that our story didn't end yesterday. His mercy is fresh again—not because we earned another chance, but because He is faithful.

Maybe you're struggling too. Maybe you're stuck in a cycle you desperately want to break, carrying shame from yesterday, or trying to fill something in your heart with the world instead of Jesus.

Don't hide it from the One who already sees it.

Today, I'm declaring:

Jesus, You are enough.

Even when I fail. Even when I'm tempted to run somewhere else. Even when I don't understand why I keep fighting the same battle.

Your love is enough. Your grace is enough. Your mercy is enough.

And tomorrow morning, when His mercy meets us again, we can get back up—not because we're trusting in ourselves, but because we're trusting in Him.

Great is Your faithfulness.

WISDOM WEDNESDAY 🤍

Sometimes the opportunities God gives us don’t actually look like opportunities.

This weekend, God gently reminded me how easily we can miss the moments He places right in front of us when we allow our emotions, frustrations, or plans to take the lead.

Our weekend in the mountains started with worship, a beautiful drive, and excitement to get to our camper… only to discover that it had been taken over by a family of mice. 😂

Five mice later, lots of cleaning and disinfecting, and an unexpected trip to the laundromat on Monday, I could have been SO annoyed.

But instead, I decided to just slow down and pay attention.

I prayed for the people around me. I watched. I was present.

And then I ran into a friend I hadn’t seen in a while. We ended up having the best time catching up while my laundry was drying.

And I thought… What if I had been so focused on my frustration that I missed the opportunity God had placed right in front of me?

How often do we do that?

We get frustrated by the interruption.
We get caught up in our own emotions.
We focus so much on what we have going on that we miss the person God is asking us to notice.

Philippians 2:3–4 Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don't look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

Maybe that unexpected conversation is an opportunity.

Maybe that person who needs encouragement is an opportunity.

Maybe the frustrating situation is an opportunity to practice patience, kindness, and surrender.

Today, ask the Holy Spirit to give you eyes to see what you might normally overlook.

Slow down. Pay attention. Be present.

You never know what God might want to do through one small interaction. 🤍

God, help us notice You in the ordinary moments. Help us surrender our emotions when they get in the way, and give us eyes to see the people You place in our path. Use us today. Amen.
